Following on from my email last week please see information below re. access to the Campus for the fireworks event on Friday night as well as changes over the weekend.

Campus access for Fireworks Night – Friday 1st November

Due to the Campus fireworks event we will be postponing night-time highways works until 11pm on Friday 1st November to ensure guests have plenty of time to leave the Campus after the event. The A1301 will remain open during this time.

Access to the event will be via the main Campus roundabout however please note the current ‘left-in/left-out’ restrictions will still be in place.

Highways works will recommence at 11pm on Friday night. The A1301 will close at this time, and you will need to follow the yellow diversion signs to take the A11 northbound to join the A505.

Campus access this weekend Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November

Access via the Campus roundabout will be closed this Saturday and Sunday 2-3 November between 8.00am – 6.00pm. During these times you will need to enter and exit the Campus through the Northern Gate, located off New Road. The temporary access routes are shown in the maps below.

Traffic marshals will be stationed at both the Campus roundabout entrance and at the Northern Gate entrance to direct people safely into and out of the Campus.

Please note the 30mph speed limit remains in place at all times throughout our highways work to protect all road users and our construction teams working close to the carriageway.
